500 pcs per design at catalogue pricing. Below that we still quote — the setup is charged once, as tooling, instead of being hidden inside the unit price.
The short answer
Everything on this site is made to order; we hold no stock. The 500 pcs threshold is a pricing line, not a refusal: under 500 we quote the same box with a one-off tooling charge added, so you can order 200 pcs without paying a unit price built for 200.
How the price moves with quantity
Same box, same material, same finish. The factors below are applied to the unit price at 500 pcs = 1.00:

Above 1,000 pcs we quote case by case, because hand assembly stops scaling linearly once the run gets long.
One-off costs, by structure
These are charged per design and per order of that design — not per unit:

You pay the cutting die once. Change only the wrap colour, the lining or the foil on the same size and nothing is charged again. A different outside dimension is a new die, and is quoted as a new design.
Tooling refund
Same design, cumulative 5,000 pcs within 12 months: the cutting die is refunded in full. Ask for this line on the quotation — it covers the die, not the printing plates.

Questions buyers actually ask
Can I order 200 pcs?
Yes. It is quoted at × 1.38 with the tooling charge, not at the 500 pc price. If the design repeats, you pay the die once.
Is the die reusable on repeat orders?
Yes — it stays on file against your design. Repeat orders carry no tooling charge unless the size changes.
Can I mix several designs to reach 500?
The 500 pcs line is per design, not per order. Two designs at 300 pcs each are two separate quotes, each with its own die.
Do you charge for artwork setup?
No. We charge the printing plate only when we print, and the foil plate only when we foil.
What if I do not know the size yet?
Send the product that goes inside, or a photo of a box you like. We will propose a size and a die-line and quote from that.
How do samples work?
Physical samples are charged per design and credited in full against the bulk order. Details on the sample page.
